| Description | The text summarizes those major topics in the field of sports psychology which are insufficiently recognized in the Czech Republic, including professiography of sporting activities and the professional self, attitudes to and principles of potential changes, the development of motivational structures in the lifelong context (internal and external motivation), biodromal and holistic approach to situation handling and personality formation, as well as methodological specifics. The text focuses on both recreational physical activity and the top-level sport. The text is supplemented with examples from practice as well as control questions. |
