| Description | Teaching material Didactics of swimming accompanies the lectures of this course. It focuses only the field of swimming. The first chapter describes the history and the importance of swimming as a physical activity. The second chapter focuses on the structure of teaching and training swimming in the Czech Republic and on the main methodological approaches concerning teaching and training swimming. The third chapter is dedicated to swimming as a competitive sport, the factors determining the performance of swimmers and the principles of biomechanics of swimming. |
