Description | Our study deals with power negotiation within classrooms of czech lower secondary student teachers during their long term practice. This paper is based on qualitative analysis of videorecordings of lessons. We focus on two higly correlated bases of power - legitimate and coercive power (French, Raven, 1959). The findings show typology of coercive power and two opposite structures of its use: gradation and resignation. |
