| Description | The article summarizes the analysis of the development of social pedagogy in the Czech Republic based on long-term research, it also follows the field of social pedagogy from other European countries. The article also focuses on the profession of the social pedagogist, his education and his employment opportunities in the Czech social and educational system. More specifically the text investigates the vision of the classification of social educators as school workers whose abilities haven't yet been proven extensively in the Czech school environment. The positions and possibilities of the employment opportunities of a social educator in the school environment have so far been exploratively verified in the Czech Republic. They are also grounded on comparisons of experiences from other countries such as Russia, Poland, Germany and others. |
