Description | The aim of this study was to continue in the work of Hirata (1966), who collected information about body height and weight of athletes competing at the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo (1964), and on the basis of mutual comparison of national teams, he outlined differences in height and somatic types among participating world populations, which could have very important implications for the rationalization of sports talent selection. |
