Description | The article describes the alternative methods of teaching grammar in foreign language courses. One of them is the so-called grammatical conceptualization, which can also be called grammar through active discovery approach to understanding how the language works. It differs from the deductive grammar in the sense that there are no existing rules to find. This grammar is cognitive because it uses the reflection of the learner. This reflection is done through a corpus containing sufficient grammatical occurrences that is analyzed together with the teacher (micro-dialogue, micro text). |
