Description In our study, we examined the issue of body composition in selected first league football players and second league in Czech Republic. Tested were men, the whole first league players (n = 19) and second league players (n = 19). We had compared following parameters: Weight (kg), BMI, FFM (%), SMM (%), PBF (%), ECM / BCM, FS using bioelectrical impendance machine InBody 720, body height was measured using standard anthropometric techniques. Testing took place at the beginning of preparations for the spring part of the competition in 2011. Test subjects were grounded with the measurement results and our specialists recommended procedure for possible improvement of the parameters. The results show that among the selected players of first league team and second league team is no statistically significant differences in the monitored parameters, height (p = 0.702), weight (p = 0.320), BMI (p = 0.383), FFM (P = 0.323), SMM (p = 0.362), PBF (p = 0.331), ECM / BCM (p = 0.550), FS (p = 0.843).
