Description The aim of the chapture is to analyze the balance of selected components of body composition in two groups of women (age 29-38 and 59-68). The distribution of body fat and lean body mass were analyzed in five segments of the human body (arms, trunk, lower limbs). The results of the thesis presenting that younger women have a higher proportion of lean body mass and elder women have conversely higher percentage of subcutaneous fat. In the distribution of body components in both groups we can see predominantly balanced distribution of lean body mass and fat in individual segments of the body.
