Description We evaluated value orientations in men`s track cycling team. The standardized SPARO questionnaire (Mikšík 2004) was used for the evaluation. Selected figures from the SPARO questionnaire components were then compared with figures of general public. Significant differences from the general public were revealed in certain figures. Surprisingly, the athletes do not show a higher aspiration level (AL), and the results also indicate that the tested group are liable to outside pressures (UR, LS) and cope with them worse than general public. The outcomes of the comparison of the whole tested group and general public are not very relevant due to a small number of participants (sample). Every tested person thus needs to be treated individually.
