Description The article deals with interdisciplinary research of creating art in people with disabilities. We point out the difference between expressive art therapy and the concept of artistic creating. Further, we analyze facilitators and barriers of independent and authentic art work from the point of view of art history and also contemporary art. The dynamics of contemporary art is based on originality, individuality and subjectivity of author’s perception. Norms are becoming undesirable obstacles. Application of inclusive principles in schools and society are basic prerequisites and fundamentals of art itself.
