Description | The book introduces the content-focused approach to analysing and improving instruction. The approach is based on empirical research on instruction in various school subjects – videostudies on teaching and learning in the classroom were employed. Research findings are presented in form of didactic case studies from which authors strive to generalize across particular school subjects. The authors believe that the book opens the way towards the improvement of instruction based on reflection, and in the future towards a new (productive) culture of teaching and learning. |
