Description	The chapter deals with specific issues of preschool education of children with visual impairments, particularly in the regular school settings. It is introduced with the specification of visual impairment term, characteristics of categories of visual impairments and frequent eye diseases of child age. Furthermore the personality and overall development of a child with visual impairment is presented. The chapter aims at specific skills of children with visual impairments that are supported and trained in a nursery school.
