Description | This paper describes the selection of the research sample and a description for the purposes of video study of physical education implemented in cooperation IVŠV PdF MU Brno, KPS FSpS MU Brno and KTV PdF MU Brno. In addition, summarises the main views of the spectrum of teaching styles and its benefit for physical education. The main points of the paper are characteristics of categorical system for encoding, objective analysis of the video from the perspective of the teaching styles and the results of this analysis. Results are presented from the perspective of the percentages of the categories of categorical system, in terms of the percentage of used teaching styles and by comparing the results for the teachers with 2 – 5 years of experience and 11 – 14 years of experience and for the teachers from schools to 200 pupils and from schools over 700 pupils. The results follow the conclusions and subjects for discussion. |
