Description By applying therapeutic ultrasound to the tissue cells, there were effected some dynamics of cellular processes. Two different mechanisms could be responsible for changes in the diameter of nuclear pores. The first is the direct acoustic effect on the bonds of individual subunits of nuclear pores or porin associated proteins. Second, there are cellular mechanisms for example the transport macromolecules through nuclear pore, or rearrangement of nuclear pores structure in the nuclear envelope. To observe the structure of the nuclear envelope, the samples were prepared by freeze-etching method. Immediately after ultrasound exposure termination, in the affected specimens were found changes in the nuclear pore complexes diameters and their shape of fractures.
