Description | The text discusses row and column classroom seating arrangement in relation to classroom communication. Based on participant observations it uses quantitative methodology to analyse communicative scripts in search for action zone in Czech lower secondary classrooms. The findings prove existence of a zone of disproportionate communication activity within Czech classrooms as well as the existence of passive seats where pupils perform much less communicative activity. |
