Description The internal response of organism (heart rate) to the training load of young female basketball players was monitored during a training process. To determine the heart rate’s range in five bioenergetics’ zones the figures for maximum heart rate from endurance shuttle run test were used. During the training process the heart rate and its development was monitored with the telemetric device Suunto Team Pack. Considerable differences in heart rate of each player were monitored while in 1st, 2nd and 3rd bioenergetics’ zones (where the energy for muscle activity is released mainly in aerobic manner) the average figure was 10 +/- 8.55 %, 18 +/- 8.87 % and 22.6 +/- 9.66 %, respectively. The average figure of the heart rate was 22.2 +/- 9.93 % in the 4th zone and 27.2 +/- 23.37 % in the 5th zone, while for these stated bioenergetics’ zones is characteristic the release of the energy mainly in aerobic-anaerobic or anaerobic manner.
