Modern innovation policies seek to influence innovation activities not only for increasing economic growth and competitiveness, but also for the purpose of achieving broader social and environmental goals. The objective of the project is to identify, analyse, systemise and evaluate instruments of innovation policies aimed at solving societal challenges. An essential part of the project is an internship at one of the Nordic innovation agencies, which are pioneers of a challenge-oriented approach.
