Within the conference we arranged a variable offer of workshops for you from the sphere of adapted physical activities under supervision of experts from the Czech Republic and abroad.
The workshop-participation is for free and every participant is enabled to choose one workshop / day only.

For the workshops, which will take place in a gym, we kindly recommend comfortable clothes and indoor shoes (in the University campus there are dressing rooms available). For the Halliwick Swimming Method you are required to have swimwear, towel etc.
WORKSHOP ANNOTATIONS:
1) Halliwick Swimming Method / Instructor: Rajko Vute, Faculty of Education, Ljubljana, Slovenia
The Halliwick Swimming Method is a method primarily aimed at swimming teaching of disabled people. However, the use of the method is much larger. Generally spoken, it can be used in cases, where a problem appears with the stay or movement in the water environment. For example, we can mention anxiety states in the water environment, the first contact with water and characteristics of water, senior-swimming, swimming in physiotherapy institutions, etc. Under the supervision of a professional instructor and teacher, prof. Rajko Vute, you will have a chance to become acquainted with the Halliwick method in the direct interaction with clients from the Institute of social care for physically disabled youth “Kociánka Brno”. Because of the limited swimming-pool capacity the participants will be divided into groups of assistants, swimmers or observers.

2) Presentation of compensatory tools / Instructors: Centre of Adapted Physical Activities, FTK UP Olomouc
The Centre of Adapted Physical Activities (APA Centre) is a division the Department of Adapted Physical Activities, which was founded in 2011 at the Faculty of Physical Culture at Palacký University Olomouc (FTK UP). The main purpose is the effort to support the society-wide integration of people with special educational needs (most often with a health disability) into the majority society with the goal of their socialization by using sport, physical education and leisure time activities. At the disposal of the APA Centre is a number of sport-compensatory tools which are used in educational and other activities. During this workshop you will have a chance to get acquainted with the following tools:Boccia balls, several types of handbikes, tandem-bike, tricycle, monoski, sound shooting, goalball ball etc.
3) Physical activities in the area of dramatic activities in work with people with hearing impairment/ Instructors: Department VDN JAMU Brno
Instructors from the JAMU Theatre faculty will present dramatic activities they use in their creative work with deaf and hearing-impaired students. These activities focus on the non-verbal communication, gestures, facial expression or space-orientation.

4) Psychomotor and juggling games / Instructor: Dáša Trávníková, FSpS MU Brno
The instructor from the Faculty of Sports Studies and the SUITCASE Theatre will present playful psychomotor and juggling activities, using various materials and tools. The activities are adaptable to the needs of various target groups. The seminar will take place in the area of the Institute of social care for physically disabled youth Kociánka Brno with the direct presence of clients. Whether in assistant-role, or as a team member or just as an observer, you will enjoy an amusing and creative physical lesson together with the clients. 5) Yoga activities for all/ Instructors: Alena Skotáková, FSpS MU Brno
Teacher and dancer from the Faculty of Sports Studies will introduce you to yoga games and activities for children and adults and their use in the area of people with special needs.

6) Psychomotor activities and games / Instructor: Marie Blahutková, FSpS MU Brno
Marie Blahutková, one of the psychomotricity pioneers in Brno CZ, will fill you with enthusiasm of her pedagogical and psychological attitude. In the area of the Institute of social care for physically disabled youth Kociánka Brno she will introduce inspiring psychomotor games in a direct interaction with clients with physical or combined disability. Whether in an assistant-role, as a team member or just as an observer, you can look forward to an inspiring psychomotor lesson.

7) Creative inclusive dance pedagogy – practical examples / Instructor: Maria Dinold, University of Vienna, Austria
Renowned instructor and expert Maria Dinold from the University of Vienna, Institute of Sports Sciences deals with both theoretical and practical didactic approaches in the area of physical education, dance, adapted physical activity and disabled sports. In the workshop you will be introduced into the dance pedagogy which Dr.Dinold actively uses in her work with people with disabilities.
